We are looking for two Total Rewards Specialists to join our Total Rewards COE team in EMEA on 12 month fixed term contracts.

In this role you will work on a variety of activities and projects arising out of the need to harmonize, simplify, modernize, and transform BD’s Total Rewards arrangements across EMEA. Activities may be transformation related, acquisition related, divestiture related, or business as usual. You will provide support to the EMEA team as the HR organization prepares to move many Total Rewards process responsibilities from local HR teams to the established Centre of Expertise for Total Rewards and HR transactional activities to the ASC service centre in Poland. As a Total Rewars Specialist you will maintain, improve, and streamline global, regional, country TR processes, tools, policies, and communications, HRIS, with a view to driving understanding, utilization, engagement, and value. In this position you will also lead global, regional or country TR focused projects and initiatives, including any aspect of Compensation, Benefits, or Global Mobility. In addition you will provide solutions to TR issues, including thought leadership and change management.

Key Activities

  • Support regional and country business and HR function harmonization including change management, organization design, and workforce transition design.

  • Manage and coordinate execution of project harmonization plans to achieve end state including benefits, incentives, pay, payroll, policies, annual compensation cycle, etc., also, onboarding, developing processes and training in partnership with HR Business Partners to ensure a successful transfer of capabilities and achievement of desired business objectives Review existing TR processes for further simplification and overall harmonization

  • Work with the regional TR team and project teams to ensure the delivery of key regional or country project milestones on time and within budget, resource and policy.

  • Act as the day-to-day project manager to help ensure successful problem formulation, comprehensive analysis and problem resolution in support of overall harmonization.

  • Involvement in a variety of activities to modernize the TR approach.

  • Compensation and benefits data gathering and analysis.

  • Maintenance, review and update of country salary structures and job catalog accuracy.

  • Proactively maintain, review and update TR Knowledge Management platforms.

  • Support TR and HR team for communication material preparation.

  • Review and improvement of TR EMEA policies content and format.

  • Review of existing TR processes for further simplification and harmonization.

  • Provide TR project related support at country and regional level, including maintenance of project trackers / charts and preparation of TR materials for regional and Global stakeholders.

  • Support with the organization of TR led activities, trainings, education, and meetings.

  • May provide financial administrative assistance to ASC, to ensure TR costs are correctly allocated and or cross charged appropriately

  • Initiation of systems data check and data improvements.

  • Other activities as requested by the TR Director.

Our flexible working policy may enable you to be home based part of the week, however we would expect you to come to the relevant BD office at least once per week.

Key Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record within HR with an emphasis on compensation and benefits in an international corporation. You should have the ability to balance multiple priorities and prioritize your work effectively.

The ideal candidate should have a high level of expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Previous experiences with Workday (HRIS) are advantageous.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a cross functional team. Project Management experience, with coordination capabilities between various types of stakeholders both internal and external, based in various countries including inside and outside of Europe are also advantageous.
