BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Procurement Financial Analyst in Wroclaw, Poland
Job Description Summary
Procurement Financial Analyst will be located in BD Wroclaw Shared Service Centre and working as a part of BP&A Finance Department in a direct reporting line to the European Functions Controller and a dotted line to the BP&A COE Manager. This role will be in charge of analyzing expenses related to Procurement Indirect Spent over EMEA region also will be in charge of analyzing expenses related to Procurement Indirect Spent over EMEA region.
Providing an end to end support to Procurement Function and their stakeholders is one of the key priorities to ensure & provide a baseline definition for core projects (create the baseline and identify in the region the main accounts - certify the baseline that will be used for savings calculation). In the scope of duties of this role will be defining and certifying the savings calculation methodology, creating and calculating the savings & Efficiency KPI - send quarterly the savings dashboard to key stakeholders.
Additionally, in the scope of duties, you will find:
TCO calculation (support the procurement to calculate Total cost of ownership)
Financial decision model (make or buy / ROI / Capex/Opex transformation model)
Indirect Procurement Performance (synergies, Cost reduction, Cost avoidance) & Pipeline Dashboard
Indirect Procurement Prioritization Dashboard if needed
Link of savings toward P&L general country manager budget or business units
Key priorities for Procurement Financial Analyst include:
Finance data collection
Performance measure: the procurement department needs to get a financial support through a certification of the value delivered in term of synergies, cost reduction and cost avoidance – The measure should be done per business/countries
Interface with Finance Controlling Department providing accurate figures & savings models to be leveraged in the procurement community
Support the procurement team for any ideation project
to identify & evaluate opportunities at a high level
define the resources required (capex, additional resources …)
integrate business intelligence figures to evaluate trends (financial) and business models
compare make or buy models
Evaluate Capex/Opex transformation impact
Support the Procurement department with Performance-Pipeline-Prioritization Dashboards
The successful candidate will have experience in Finance/ Controlling within a complex decentralized organization in a large international business environment within a matrix organization, strong understanding of budgeting and planning techniques (budgeting, forecasting) and excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Fluent English is a must.
Additionally, to the above skills we are looking for:
Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance or related field (preferably Accounting / Controlling),
Very good analytical skills & presentation skills,
Good knowledge of accounting tools (SAP, Business Warehouse),
Good knowledge of BI reporting tools (QlikView, SAP, BPC) will be an asset,
Good understanding of project management methods and / or process improvement,
Flexibility and adaptability in changing environments,
