BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) HR Project Manager in Wroclaw, Poland
Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Project Manager who will be responsible for HR processes harmonization and integration as well as managing other project initiatives in HR area.
You can become a part of global Enterprise Project Management Office Team, working with other project managers around the world to create work plans, track progress on work schedules, track budget progress and burn rates, keep plans up to date and publish results, create and present management reports on project outcomes and status.
As Project Managers we follow PMI methodology and also ensure compatibility and consistency with existing architectural and enterprise standards. We have the responsibility to assist departments and agencies of BD in the implementation of significant projects, as directed by the EPMO Team Lead.
As HR Project Manager you will:
Develop project charter in alignment with sponsor and stakeholder objectives, enterprise and payroll priorities and goal, ensure acceptance of charter by steering committee/sponsor(s)
Document project assumptions and constraints and ensure baseline project plan is developed in accordance with these.
Develop project plan and resource needs, resource load plan, and work with management to assign/obtain needed resources for project success
Conduct stakeholder analysis, business impact analysis, and plan engagement, communications, and training activities to ensure effective communication and adoption throughout the project lifecycle
Identify, manage, and escalate issues and risks to the HR Program Management Office and Sponsors/Stakeholders and assist with closure and/or mitigation using HR PMO templates and practices
Lead the integration of the different work streams to produce congruent business solutions that deliver superlative capability resulting in positive impact to the business
Review project deliverables and verify that subject matter experts have validated and that any open issues have been resolved prior to passing governance phase gates
Participate in workshops to elicit requirements and current state information or to explain and obtain feedback on proposed design solution
Work with business subject matter experts/process owners and other key stakeholders to review and sign-off deliverables
Identify and track items to be governed by the change control process and escalate to PMO as needed
Close project activities including documenting and communicating lessons learned, updates to project plans and templates, and archiving of project records and deliverables.
Performs other related duties as assigned and required
We expect that you have:
Desired 2-4 years’ proven ability to deliver successful projects as a project manager/lead, preferred in HR business;
Required experience specifically related to HR operations, processes, policies and tools
Required experience in work with stakeholders across countries / EMEA and different management levels;
Excellent communication skills at all levels, including experience communicating to senior leadership.
Resource forecasting, resource capacity planning and demand management,
Strong client relationship and team building skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage risks and issues to resolution
Demonstrated ability to work independently, remaining agile and flexible in a challenging environment and managing multiple competing priorities.
Ability to speak and write fluent English
Strong verbal communication ability
Enthusiastic, motivated, positive, “CAN DO” attitude, results focused
Travel: up to 25% internationally within Europe
