Job Description Summary

Develops strategies and programs for Total Rewards (comprised of compensation, health, retirement and well-being) plans, programs, policies, communications and tools across the 32 countries in EMEA. Strategic partner with Region/Country Business and HR Leadership on advising, developing and implementing total reward solutions. Total Rewards solutions developed based on a deep understanding of the business, local and regional competitive environment and expertise in total rewards methodologies and approaches. Influences the design of global plans and strategies.

Leads and develops team of Region Total Rewards professionals in the design and delivery of total rewards programs that are locally relevant, advance the employer value proposition and attract talent. Manage and identify regional vendors; partner with Associate Service Center and HR Business Partners to ensure end-to-end program management, consult on business and country processes to enable operational excellence.

Job Description

Key Activities

  • Leads the deployment of the global total rewards strategy in EMEA; develops and leads implementation of regional strategy for regional/local programs, aligned to the global strategy

  • Oversees the management and/or design of the regional plan arrangements and processes, such as the year-end compensation process, benefits renewals, job architecture, job leveling criteria, etc.

  • Leads regional competitive analysis initiatives, resulting in establishing competitive rewards packages and incentive targets, while effectively managing costs for BD; assures compliance with local laws in the TR area

  • Provide consultation to influence design of sales, marketing and technical services incentive plans

  • Develops and maintains a regional communication strategy; leads the development and maintenance of tools, materials and communications to enable the HR community to effectively deliver rewards messages and concepts to managers enabling the capture of the total rewards value proposition.

  • Partners with senior leaders in the development of compensation packages for the senior members of the organization; while also providing guidance in the application of the rewards philosophy

  • Manages regional and local vendor selection and optimization

  • Leads Regional Total Rewards merger, acquisition and divestiture initiatives, participates in due diligence as necessary

  • Develops the strategic direction and oversees benefit plan renewals and plan optimization, designing plans that associates value and meet their needs, including overseeing contract renewals

Key Experience & Skills

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in rewards with an emphasis on compensation and benefits management and design

  • Superior ability to communicate, influence, persuade, gain the confidence of, and advise senior management on sensitive issues.

  • Ability to work well under pressure, balance multiple priorities and produce results. Proven leadership in team building. Must be able to travel up to 35% of the time.

  • Knowledge of global and regional regulatory environment, can speak at a high level to applicable laws affecting rewards plans.

  • Hands on experience translating business requirements into functional solutions.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
