Duties & Responsibilities

1.0 Job Description

  • Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) accountability. Observing GMP rules and procedures.

  • Apply SOP and/or SWI in daily operations.

  • Observe BD Code of Ethics.

  • Reporting up on all incidents/accidents, near misses, deviations from plan and when required, to take part in further investigations.

  • Reporting up on all quality incidents, near misses, non conformance from SOP, Specifications and when required, to take part in further investigations.

  • Safety & ISO 14001 Environmental accountability. Ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally-friendly workplace by observing Company’s rules and procedures. Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement and reduction of resource materials.

  • Safety & health accountability: Safety and health are important to BD and we encourage the observance of all safety programs and training assigned to you. Such programs are to be attended in a timely manner to ensure that work tasks carried out are in accordance to our safety guidelines and SOPs.

  • Provide clerical support to the plant such as Change Control activities (Local - CRF, Corporate - ACR and System - SCN) and Supplier Approval Letter for Graphics change process.

  • Schedule meetings and booking of conference rooms within plant premises for Graphic-related activities.

  • Execute Graphic-related projects tasks.

  • Monitor/control the progress of Graphic change tasks.

  • Typing of letters & memos, etc. if needed.

  • Processing and handling Graphic change correspondences tasks in system (SAP, software) independently including Mark-up preparation in Engineering drawing format for the Graphics change.

  • Assist in preparation of training/presentation materials for LCR/project meeting and arrange logistics, transportations etc.

  • Able to review, prepare markup labels based on inputs using appropriate software’s like pdf, word etc. in Engineering drawing format.

  • Update Document Information Record (DIR) in SAP.

  • Leading SCN, material BOM and routing change request related to Graphics.

  • Contribute into departments activities that are needed in order to achieve goals set for the department eg. Kaizen submission, team building, safety Kaizen submission, 20Keys and others.

  • Participate in the discussion and review of team's performance in the daily shift changeover meeting.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiative / activities.

  • Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

2.0 Knowledge & Experience

  • Preferably GCE 'O' Level or Diploma. Experience in document management system and control.

  • Competency Assessment in accordance to work task assigned.

  • Good proficiency in Reading, understanding and reviewing of Engineering drawing.

  • Good proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience and exposure to some level of using BOTS for automation of process is advantageous.

  • Experience in good GMP and GDP practices for documenting of details, as required by change control procedures.

3.0 Supervision / Reporting Relationships

  • Please refer to Department Organization chart.

4.0 Accountability

  • Ensure timely closure of Graphics change projects.
