Job Description Summary
The Regional Marketing Manager, Diabetes Care, CASAJ will develop and execute marketing programs for our Injection, Infusion and Digital Health portfolios. This experienced, dynamic manager will be a key member of the regional commercial team and is responsible for developing and supporting integrated omni-channel marketing plan at the regional level. This role influences the development and drives the execution of strategic and tactical programs to drive sustainable brand consumption in the region. The position interface with cross functional resources including: other Marketing associates, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and R&D.
Job Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Drive implementation of CASAJ marketing strategy that is aligned with the global strategy
Support the development of country strategic marketing plans that contribute to the achievement of volume/mix, revenue and margin objectives/budget in alignment with CASAJ business objectives.
Understand the economic, market and industry trends in CASAJ and use trend data to maximize opportunities and minimize risk exposure
Build competitive knowledge in the CASAJ markets.
Customize product messaging according to desired brand positioning and lead omni-channel marketing efforts to improve brand perception and drive sales performance.
Develop creative briefs and execute promotional activities for both ethical and consumer channels.
Grow brand advocacy amongst expert healthcare professionals (HCPs) and consumers to strengthen differentiation versus competitors.
Identify investment priorities and manage brand budget with appropriate mix between advertising and in-store efforts in collaboration with sales team and channel partners.
Support Country Sales and Marketing’s key reporting processes such as (Budget/ Forecasting, Fact Based Forecasting, Key Success Factors, sales and manufacturing revenue projections).
Ensure launch excellence and working closely with global marketing in the provision of regional marketing expertise to countries in the area of Product marketing, Branding and Digital Marketing
To drive the Sales and Integrated Operations Planning (SIOP) process in order to ensure healthy stock situation and maintain effective inventory control.
Prepare Business cases & plans for major identified opportunities (e.g. new products, new segments, new categories)
Model BD values & behaviors and compliance with all BD codes of practice.
EMPLOYEE PROFILE:
QUALIFICATIONS
University Degree/MBA or other relevant Post Graduate qualification preferably in Business/Marketing
5+ years related regional marketing experience preferably in Consumer Healthcare industry or Consumer Medical Device industry
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Experience in developing brand strategies and implementing execution plans in both ethical and consumer channels. Knowledge of regulations governing medical device and consumer activities.
Strong knowledge of consumer marketing, including digital media planning and agency management.
Strong ability to apply scientific and medical knowledge in ethical channels.
Marketing and financial skills are critical to drive performance and have informed discussions with key stakeholders (e.g. investment allocations, ROI).
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively in English.
Demonstrated ability to influence, handle difficult negotiations, and work cross-functionally with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects or product launches with successful outcomes.
Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on can-do attitude and a keen interest in proactively developing an important new suite of services and capabilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with people at all levels in an organization.
