This position assists with engineering activities and performs tasks associated with those activities.

  • Coordination of test protocols and reports on a project level.

  • Coordinate multiple development builds.

  • Assist in statistical analysis of data.

  • Test and document experimental results in a manner that complies with GMP and GLP guidelines.

  • Provide process/test method training to Manufacturing/QC personnel and other technicians.

  • Assists with decision making.

  • Maintains accurate data, analyzes and assists in drawing conclusions.

  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of BPV policies and ISO and FDA requirements.

  • Develops new tests.

  • May present data findings to management or peers.

  • Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of processes and equipment to produce products that meet customer requirements and are cost effective.

  • Responsible for assisting in system assurance including documentation, testing and inspection, product and process development, and non-conforming product investigations. Will assist in the support of Manufacturing, New Product Development and Regulatory to ensure systems are in compliance with all internal and external guidelines.

  • Responsible for assisting in concept generation, design, development and evaluation of new products, materials and technologies

  • Above average proficiency in personal computers required.

  • Advanced technical skills (g., SolidWorks, Statgraphics, Project).

  • Ability to coordinate projects.

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.

  • Knowledge of GMP, GLP and ISO requirements a plus.

  • Performs job with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Results oriented.

  • Associates degree in science, math or engineering with 4 years related experience, or a minimum of 8 years related experience.

  • Exposure to statistical analysis and experimental design helpful.
