This project manager resides in the Finance – Strategic Initiatives organization and manages cross-functional project teams that are responsible for delivering defined outputs on-time, within budget, and with quality results. This person develops strong relationships with all stakeholders. The project manager is responsible for the overall coordination, planning, organizing, execution, status reporting and stability of project work. This person is responsible for projects of moderate to high complexity with leadership impact, influence and visibility. Business analysis responsibilities are also part of the project manager’s responsibilities including business process mapping, training, data quality, and organizational change management.

Stakeholder Partnership & Communication

  • Proactively communicate and partner with stakeholders to effectively deliver solutions

  • Deliver communications to stakeholders with positivity and energy

  • Effectively manage and communicate project intent and motivate stakeholders to achieve project objectives

Project Management

  • Leverage project management methods and standards to ensure project results meet/exceed customer expectations

  • Manage projects with varying degrees of complexity and risk

  • Work on multiple projects concurrently

Business Process Development

  • Provide process leadership within the business; develop detailed knowledge and understanding of key business processes and their cross-functional impacts

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document key business processes

  • Leverage process definition methods and tools to deliver business process improvements

Data Quality Management

  • Act as a steward of business data to ensure quality information is maintained and available to stakeholders

  • Leverage data quality standards, especially for customer and product master data, when designing and implementing business solutions

OCM (Organizational Change Management) & Training

  • Plan, develop, and deliver role-based, stakeholder training associated with project solutions

  • Assess organizational readiness for change and develop targeted action plans to motivate positive change behaviors

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal relationship skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with external vendors

  • Ability to advocate and lead organizational change

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Knowledge of project management methods and standards

  • Knowledge of business process improvement methods and standards

  • Knowledge of BI processes and procedures

  • Knowledge of data quality concepts

  • Knowledge of role-based training development and delivery methods

  • Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft software including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio

  • BA/BS degree in Business, IS, Project Management or related field required, from an accredited university

  • PMP certification strongly preferred

  • MBA preferred

  • 10+ years business experience in an enterprise level organization required

  • 5+ years of project management experience preferred

  • 2-3+ years of business analysis experience preferred

  • 3+ years of enterprise ITS organization experience preferred

  • Medical Device industry experience preferred

The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
