Audit and manage material controls within the department. Trend, Analyze, and Communicate sources of waste for continuous improvement opportunities. Conduct weekly and monthly Cycle Counts to ensure consistency and accuracy of material controls. Perform SAP and Apriso Transactions. Assist Supervision with administrative tasks such as payroll, vacation scheduling, C2C compliance, and attendance tracking.

Job Description

  • Material Control / Administrator will perform and verify material transactions, review with the Supervisor daily to resolve any issues associated with materials.

  • Block Stock reconciliation and Status Recon Audits Operational Waste transactions.

  • Coordinate and manage physical disposition of defective product on waste trailers.

  • Work with the SAP/Apriso System Analyst and Investigate and correct any discrepancies with the GOTO report and Reconciliation report.

  • Resolve GOTO locations over three days old and resolve any material issues with the Reconciliation report.

  • Perform weekly SAP & Apriso Cycle counts

  • Investigate and resolve any issues with the cycle count and month end Trend waste to identify sources for continuous improvement.

  • Perform scheduled cycle count as well as all month end cycle counts

  • Perform SAP and Apriso Cycle Counts monthly or as required by the Manufacturing Manager.

  • Investigate and resolve any issues with the cycle count and month end Trend waste to identify sources for continuous improvement.

  • Perform final confirmations and reconcile and have all work orders ready to TECO within a week.

  • Reconcile work orders and perform SAP/Apriso transactions

  • Correct any discrepancies on work orders.

  • Verify production quantities and schedule attainment. Assists in the containment process when defective components are identified.

  • Manage FIFO regarding aged inventory older than 90 days

  • Run weekly C2C requirement report for all Injection Molding associates

  • Assist with scheduling and communication vacation for all indirect labor associates.

  • Run monthly attendance point reports for all indirect labor associates.

  • Other Administrative duties as assigned

  • ​Ensures the East Wing Mix room is clean and organized at all times. Notifies Manufacturing Supervisor of any violations to the 5S standards identified.

  • Complete transactions, as stated above, using SAP & Apriso.

  • Communicate inventory discrepancies to the Manufacturing Manager, Planner, and Senior System Analyst.

  • Work with Senior System Analysts to resolve any material issues.

  • Observe all safety and environmental procedures.

Metrics used to measure performance of this role include the following:

  • Zero missing LP’s for the official monthly Apriso Cycle Count

  • Zero products on the Quantity Reconciliation report by each month end

  • Flat official monthly SAP Cycle Counts

  • Zero late C2C requirements within the dept. each month

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 6-12 months experience working in a manufacturing environment
