Job Description SummaryThe Sr. Marketing Specialist/Assoc. Marketing Manager, MMS is responsible for supporting developing, managing and delivering the go-to-market programs to enable the commercial success for End to End Medication Safety. The Sr. Marketing Specialist/Assoc. Marketing Manager, will support the downstream marketing efforts in support of the products and organizational objectives. This role will support the customer workflow around the management of supplies and medications while also supporting an enterprise approach as measured by the development of value offers to drive committed contracts, competitive conversions, sales revenue and profitability.
This role will have/develop working knowledge of the unique needs of managing the safe delivery and administration of medications and be able to demonstrate key product features and describe customer benefits while also presenting its contribution to the “connected medication management” system. This role will focus on supporting operations and workflow within the pharmacy, nursing and procedural areas and best practices to support customer goals and objectives.
The position reports to the Director, Downstream Global Marketing, and will require close cross functional collaboration with the Alaris, Pyxis, ISD, Fluids and HealthSight Platform Downstream and Regional Marketing Teams as well as Sales, Commercial Operations, GCS Teams etc.
Support the development and management of marketing programs and promotions (for assigned categories) to support sales objectives
In conjunction with the Director, Downstream Global Marketing, connects regularly with stakeholders in the broader E2E & Downstream Marketing Teams to ensure alignment
Develop, and utilizes market analyses and market research where necessary, and evaluates results to optimize the marketing planning process – as well as building case studies that show the impact of value offers and other account level initiatives
Support creation of marketing tools that support US Regional marketing strategies; develops various internal and customer-facing tools and materials developed specifically for use by the SCG team (i.e. Customer PPT, iPad apps, marketing collateral, etc…)
Assist with the development and implementation of marketing communication materials across all elements of the communications continuum, including digital and website
Support launch objectives, strategies, metrics and contingency plans that align with BD goals which includes:
Planning, scheduling and tracking of product launch activities
Identification and resolution of launch issues or schedule problems
Collaborate with platform marketing to ensure key deliverables are met prior to launch
Support the development of sales messaging, 3 whys, 10% messaging, and new customer-facing tools and materials or update existing ones
Work closely with the Platform Marketing and Sales Management to understand the customer program needs to support product revenue objectives and lead the development and execution of those programs
Support the strategy and development of the annual promotional calendar (for assigned categories), working closely with Marketing and Sales
Support the Sales Organization in the preparation of Program and Promotional training materials
Identify opportunities to develop support tools/processes that increase sales productivity and effectiveness in the field (i.e. sales collateral, systems, tools – whiteboards, PowerPoint and other tools required by the Sales Council)
Support launch readiness in CER, Global Marketing Planning, PDT, and Marketing Functional meetings
Develop customer success material to highlight MMS successes and best practices, including testimonials, case studies, videos, and webinars and other evidence generation tactics

Demonstrate agility and action orientation when facing ambiguity, change and uncertainty.
Minimum of 3-5 years of business experience in the life science or medical technology industry.
Minimum of 2-3 years in product, market management or sales. Business experience may include marketing, sales, sales training, business development.
Experience with B2B marketing required
Strong customer-facing presentation skills – demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and impactful customer-facing presentations.
Excellent analytical skills and high business acumen.
Experience with digital marketing including email and social media.

Enthusiastic, self-motivated strong team player.
Experience in planning, executing and measuring marketing programs
Experience in supporting and training salesforce for new product launches and on-going sales messaging
Ability to handle multiple projects.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience developing customer facing tools (i.e. presentations and spreadsheets) that are impeccable in content and cosmetics.
Success in navigating cross-matrix organizations – must be able to collaborate with various work teams to be effective. Works constructively with internal functions including various marketing teams, Finance, Quality/Regulatory, etc…as appropriate.
Experienced in using Microsoft Office applications - particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
An understanding of the use of CRM databases (salesforce.com).
Familiarity with Veeva Vault regulatory review system.
Well organized with good process management skills.
