BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Specialist, Clinical Customer Advocacy in San Diego, California

Job Description SummaryThe Specialist, Clinical Customer Advocacy is responsible for assisting the Clinical Customer Advocacy case owners with the completion of all tasks associated with management and processing of event reporting, including but not limited to complaint intake, data entry, review, documentation and closing of complaint files.

Job responsibilities, not limited to:

  • Assist colleagues with all tasks of complaint handling excluding return product analysis.

  • Assists with ensuring timeliness and compliance with all FDA regulations and standards related to the review of events/complaints for BD products.

  • Assists with complaint data entry, review for accuracy, customer communications per request, writing customer letters, final complaint review.

  • Assist with support for internal quality audits of complaint files / complaint documentation, as well as external audits/inspections from Regulatory Bodies as required.

  • Collaborate with appropriate clinical, technical, and/or regulatory employees for assistance with aspects of complaint handling as appropriate.

  • Comply with the site Quality System.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree,Associate Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a medical device company or other regulated industry with Quality, Regulatory or Complaint management strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Working knowledge of QA, Regulatory/Quality Compliance in a medical device industry.

  • Able to utilize computers for data entry, development of reports/documents in varied systems.

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office tools to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects with various disciplines.

  • Position requires innovative thinking, ability to solve problems, flexibility and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication, organization and presentation skills.
