Our team is looking for a Healthcare Analytics Consultant that can develop actionable research questions, analyze datasets, define meaningful features, and support the development of an analytics platform. The ideal candidate will be an analytically-driven team player, with excellent attention to detail who wants to explore customer experience improvement opportunities. This position will be responsible for building client-facing custom reports, dashboards, and automate the tracking of client performance during optimization efforts.
Position supports BD HealthSight Practice Improvement customers with reporting and analytics services. Specifically, identifying new opportunities, benchmarking, data profiling, data mining, feature engineering, performance analysis, and predictive modeling.
The core responsibilities include:
Assist in determining business and/or customer needs by effectively conducting interviews and leveraging various tools and analyticalmethods; summarizefindings in a coherent manner to develop and propose appropriate solutions.
Effectively employ visualizations to help convey data insights to non-technical audiences.
Maintain communication with internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous program improvement.
Understand and define data requirements for various data sources in support of analytics team initiatives.
Extract, analyze and use data to build analysis, identify new metrics, and prototype data driven solutions to provide value and insights to customers and internal stakeholders
Performs data aggregations, joins, manipulations, and cleaning to ensure data integrity throughout the entire analytical processSolves problems by applying a variety of predictive modeling/machine learning
Work with our stakeholders to design and implement new analytics solutions, including reports and dashboards.
Identify key client trends, issues and opportunities and assist in formulating strategies and solutions to improve customer experience.
Provide ad hoc information and insights support to key stakeholders.
Preferred Work Experience
2 or more years of medical device/ health care industry experience
2 or more years QlikView and/or Qlik Sense experience
1 year Knowledge/Experience with Big Data/Hadoop tools
Experience with statistical analysis tools
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science or related field of study, Required
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science or Analytics or related field of study, Preferred
Ability to cultivate and maintain productive working relationships with internal business partners
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Excellent data visualization skills, is able to determine the appropriate visualization for a variety of data types and create compelling stories with data.
Ability to present and tell the data story with visuals/infographics
Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Excel, MS Access and PowerPoint
Advanced SQL skills and is comfortable operating with relational data models and structure.
Experience with business intelligence reporting tools
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting in front of large audiences.
A basic understanding of Agile methodologies and continuous delivery
Ability to travel up to 20-30% of the time
Must have proof of legal authorization to work in US.
