Job Description SummaryThe Senior Project Manager role for DHA Service & Support is a staff position responsible for coordinating Service and Support activities to meet service agreements for Defense Health Agency (DHA) customers including management of complaints/inquiries, proactive & reactive support and regular performance reporting (Preventative Maintenance, Security, etc.) This role has a matrixed accountability to the BD DHA focused Enterprise Program Manager and the larger BD Federal Account Team.

Job Title: Senior Project Manager, DHA Service & Support

Location: Home based position with travel

Department Overview

The BD MMS (Medication Management Solutions) Service and Support organization provides technical and field support to BD’s Pyxis Dispensing and Alaris Infusion customers.

Responsibilities

  • Review GCS portions of federal government Dispensing contracts or proposals and align with GCS leadership.

  • Coordinates service escalation resolutions originating from BD Federal Account Team (Professional Service, Service & Support, Sales) and DHA customers

  • Coordinate with GCS International for overseas DHA reactive service escalations

  • Planning process & system improvements to enhance DHA supportability

  • Coordinates Device Security compliance

  • Supports contracting and support and services local teams to ensure appropriate contractual coverage for service activities.

  • Coordinate logistical support for GCS International service events

  • Monthly & Quarterly Performance Status Report to DHA documenting service performance as required by service agreements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years of project management related healthcare or medical device support preferably for the military

  • Prefer working knowledge of military medicine, correctional medicine, or Veterans Affairs operations preferred.

  • Specific knowledge of BD business highly desired

  • Prefer knowledge of hospital systems and procedures that integrate with BD products.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong grasp of technology and its impact on software deployment

  • Ability to contribute to operational and strategic development of the organization

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.

  • Home based position with travel. Travel may range from 25 - 50%, overnight travel. Position requires flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends. Ability to work independently from home office

  • Upon hire, must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions. Proofs must include: Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis

Security Requirement

  • Must be US Citizen and possess a current Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance or have the ability to successfully adjudicate to a DoD security clearance through the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) upon hire.

  • Must have the ability to pass background check for Department of Justice (DoJ) and Veterans Affairs (VA) and obtain security clearance.

  • Must possess a United States passport or have the means to obtain upon hire.
