Vascular Access Devices, a sub-business unit of Medication Delivery Solutions, focuses on developing, manufacturing, and distributing high-quality medical devices used by clinicians throughout the worldwide healthcare industry to access a patient’s vasculature. Our devices assist in the delivery of chemotherapy, blood products, antibiotics, and nutrition.
This position is responsible for providing a senior role in the accurate and timely financial information for use by management in key business decision-making. The analyst will work with people at all levels of the organization to report, monitor and manage key financial performance indicators.

Prepares and analyzes financial reporting at all levels of the organization on actuals, forecasts, and prior fiscal year on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Participates in monthly closing activities. Conducts thorough research and analysis of variances to ensure data accuracy.
Heavy involvement in the annual budget process, ensuring timely completion.
Responsible for developing financial modeling and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives.
Assist with internal and external audits, Sarbanes-Oxley and all other compliance matters. Assist with preparation of annual tax package.
Provide coaching and direction to more junior financial analysts.
Manage special projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Two to four (2-4) years experience with exposure to automated general ledger systems or equivalency.
Demonstrated knowledge of sound accounting skills and internal control procedures, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated human relation and communication skills, time management skills, and organizational ability.
Preferred qualifications include:
- MBA, CPA or CMA.
The incumbent must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the duties and responsibilities.
Understanding of financial reporting and the required statements and supporting ledgers.
Excellent communication skills and organization ability.
Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel) and the ability to work with other computer applications.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
This position is in an office and laboratory environment and requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also be required to lift up to twenty five pounds occasionally. The incumbent may be required to stand for extended periods of time. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
