Vascular Access Devices, a sub-business unit of Medication Delivery Solutions, focuses on developing, manufacturing, and distributing high-quality medical devices used by clinicians throughout the worldwide healthcare industry to access a patient’s vasculature. Our devices assist in the delivery of chemotherapy, blood products, antibiotics, and nutrition.
This position assists in providing direct support to the Manufacturing Production Department by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production tooling, machines, and packaging equipment.

Maintains production equipment and tools by performing scheduled preventative maintenance.
Set-up equipment which may include Arburg machines, printers, and LSR dispensers.
Performs or assists Senior Maintenance Tech in repairing production equipment and tools as required in emergencies to maintain production schedules.
Performs or assists Senior Maintenance Tech in the Installation of utilities for production areas such as electrical, compressed air, plumbing, and exhaust systems.
Orders parts, tools, and materials required for maintenance and maintains a supply of critical parts.
Assists in the maintenance of a preventative maintenance system for production equipment.
Shares the responsibility for the daily collection of hazardous waste with the Senior Maintenance Technicians.
Assists Maintenance Worker in the facility by painting, cleaning, patching, changing light bulbs, moving archive boxes to shipping and provide misc. customer support.
Ensures that optimum production output is maintained by minimizing downtime and improving quality of goods produced.
Will complete a minimum of 24 hours of HAZWOPER training to handle, store and ship hazardous waste.
One (1) year of vocational school in a related area PLUS,
Three (3) years of production maintenance experience or equivalency.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
The incumbent must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the duties and responsibilities.
Mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
Ability to read and comprehend schematic wiring and piping diagrams as well as engineering drawings.
Ability to operate all computerized programs utilized in the maintenance and production departments.
This position is in a Maintenance shop, office and laboratory environment and requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also be required to lift up to fifty pounds occasionally. The incumbent may be required to stand for extended periods of time. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
