We are looking for a talented and highly motivated candidate to join our team as a Field Application Specialist (FAS) in Flow Cytometry to provide technical support to customers thus contributing to growing business and promoting solutions to ensure the best customer experience.

Area of Activity

As Field Application Specialist you will report to Regional Sales Manager South Italy, supporting the whole Center and South territoy.

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform trainings on new instruments and applications adopted in clinical and academic laboratories

  • Ensure timely and effective on-site or remote support to manage customer issues

  • Closely collaborate with Sales Team to cross functionally perform both pre-sales and post-sales activities, to grow the business by customer satisfaction

  • Promote new applications and product updates to support existing customers

  • Handle customer complaints and troubleshooting

  • Provide customer feedback and act as customer advocate

  • Jointly develop account strategies with Sales and Marketing to both protect and grow business

  • Translate technical documentation from English into Italian (namely technical bulletins, user guides, procedures, and technical manuals related to software or applications)

  • Actively report activities through CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software

  • Collaborates with Sales & Marketing teams supporting the preparation of effective technical documentation

  • Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies.

Education and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related fields

  • Minimum, three years’ experience as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory professionals in hospitals or academic lab.

  • Previous experience in Medical Technology Companies in similar roles is strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of laboratory workflow and information systems

  • Strong experience in Flow cytometry and in molecular techniques

  • The ability to effectively interact and communicate with customers and colleagues is a key factor to success

  • Fluent English

  • Computer proficient in the MS Office and possibly some knowledge in software

  • Self-motivated, success oriented and demonstrated collaborative, customer focused approach.

  • Extensive travel is required
