Job Description Summary
Marketing Manager for country from pre-launch to maturity phase marketing
Based in the BD Office the role of the Marketing Manager is to develop and deliver Marketing and Business Plans for BD Preanalytical Systems as the business continues to focus on a range of sample collection products and solution initiatives to meet customer needs.
Main Role and Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver Marketing plans to drive BD Pre-analytical Systems for Saudi Arabia competitive position , sales revenues and OBIO growth
Implement global and EMA marketing strategy in the Saudi Marketing plan
Own the pricing strategy to drive OIBO
Understand key customer and market trends and work with EMA team to ensure that Saudi customer needs are met
Implement Customer Centricity messaging
Work with internal and external Supply Chain partners on demand forecasting to optimize inventory and service to Saudi Customers
Develop and execute all elements of Product Lifecycle management and strategy formulation
Support Country Sales and Marketing`s key reporting processes such as (Budget/ Forecasting, Fact Based Forecasting, Key Success Factors, sales and manufacturing revenue projections).
Support the development of strategies that contribute to the achievement of volume/mix, revenue and margin objectives/budget in alignment with the Country PAS business objectives.
Participate as a key member of the EMA marketing team, Saudi Sales and Marketing teams, and Saudi BDX Marketing Forum
Support and coach the Field Sales team with implementation of marketing messages and sales tools
Develop key marketing tools and materials for Sales team
Manage and coordinate tender and pricing proposals
Manage and control the marketing budget
Product Management at Country/Regional level in Life Sciences or Medical Devices companies.
Sales experience >3 yrs
Ambitious driver with strong self-motivation and initiative
Project management track record
The successful candidate should be dynamic, with strong interpersonal skills. This person will be able to influence and get things done, even without direct authority.
A team player able to influence without authority and be able to provide coaching to sales organization
Good business judgment
Excellent negotiation skills, decisive but open also to suggestion and dialogue
Strong supporter of the core BD values.
Strong desire to grow within the business /company.
Degree level qualification – Science – Pharmaceutical or medica
Minimum 5 years customer facing/ sales experience with healthcare environment
Minimum 2 years Product Management experience
Broad understanding of Saudi healthcare market structures, tender management process -and logistics
Ability to work autonomously, and be capable of independently generating, prioritizing and completing work.
Be able to demonstrate progressive achievements especially in multidisciplinary environment.
PC Literate expert level in PowerPoint/ Excel/word etc
Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
Self-motivated with a desire for self-development.
An ability to show initiative
Knowledge of specific procedures and practices:
- Familiarity with Medical Device Markets and knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures, applicable regulatory and legislative practices, and medical distribution channels desirable.

- Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the business and industry
