BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Transfer Engineer in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico

The Transfers Engineer is responsible for provide the information and execute the activities required per the Technology Transfer procedure:

  • Tooling and equipment transfer, IQ/OQ’s, facilities modifications, process mapping.

  • Once the transfer is completed is responsible for supporting the implementation of manufacturing procedures.

  • Create product structures based on Sending Facility information

  • Coordinate the Process Flow Chart and cell layout with the Industrial Engineer

  • Equipment and tooling list and place the Purchase requisitions.

  • Create and execute the IQ/OQ protocols and reports (including Equipment installation, Process Characterization, calibration activities, spare part list, establish min-max system in the Tool Crib, etc).

  • Create the new product DMR documentation (BOMs, routings, manufacturing procedures, product drawings, tooling drawings, raw material specifications, etc)

  • Participate actively in the DMR reviews, CR’s reviews, and collaborate with QE, QC and SQA functions in activities related with the transfer.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Have “hands on” ability and be able to go into a machine and/or fixture to technically assess any issue and solve it or propose a viable solution.

  • Dynamic, positive attitude with good interpersonal and organizational skills, proficient.

  • Also able to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, electronic engineering.

  • A Master degree and – or related certifications (i.e. CQE, Six Sigma / Lean manufacturing certification) are desirable

  • 4 years on Manufacturing Operations.
