BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Cleanroom Operator - 1st Shift in Queensbury, New York
The operator performs highly technical operations in the manufacturing and processing of pharmaceutical medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment in a clean room environment.
May include complex and precision adjustments that require an understanding of the manufacturing process and the effect of electronic, pneumatic and mechanical devises on the process. A strong focus and high attention to detail is required.
Responsible for following safety policies, gowning and material handling procedures. Must have strong focus and attention to detail and maintain combo device documentation accurately. Ability to understand and follow pharmaceutical medical device manufacturing procedures. Must perform a variety of processing duties utilizing specialized equipment and measurement devices (go/no-go gauges). Ability to adapt to fluid production priorities.
Able to sit and stand for long periods of time, Lift 50 pounds, Positive attitude, Scheduling flexibility. Willingness to work OT as needed.
High school or GED Plus a minimum of 6 months in medical device manufacturing.
