BD Urology and Critical Care a BD Company is seeking to fill the position of Clinical Manager covering Northeast/NY/NJ. This position will support Bard Medical's Home Care Business. Formerly Bard Medical we are in the business of advancing lives and the delivery of healthcare.

Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:

The Clinical Manager (CM) is responsible for working with the Account Management team to provide clinical support to SCI facilities and outreach to recently discharged patients with the goal of securing more patients through our LINK program. The ideal candidate is an RN with extensive SCI Rehabilitation Hospital experience. MED Surgery and industry experience is a plus. Duties include providing intermittent catheter training, education and clinical support to nursing and their patients. The position involves working closely with nursing leaders, physicians, case managers and their patients as they transition from the hospital to the home.

Essential job Functions:

  • Communicate professionally with nurse managers, clinical educators, staff nurses, OT and PT, case managers, physicians and patients

  • Ensure staff are well trained on Bard products and our LINK program

  • Ensure facility has necessary supplies and literature to help train patients to self-cath

  • Assist in working with patients transitioning from hospital to home that are enrolled in LINK, helping to ensure a smooth transition and catheter compliance

  • Must be flexible to meet the needs of a growing business

  • Assist with internal quality improvement efforts

  • Attend assigned national conferences & exhibitions

  • Make prudent economic decisions regarding travel

  • Maintain personal schedule

  • Understand and abide by FDA guidelines for manufacturers

  • Must comply with hospital rules and requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to work with internal team members and customers

  • Must be willing to travel up to 70% per week

  • Must have teaching experience, leadership experience a plus

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Must have the ability to develop positive relationships with physicians and nurses

  • Must have a strong work ethic; must be a self-starter

  • Must possess a positive can-do attitude

  • Must have evidence of being a team player

  • Must be able to drive to hospitals and accounts

  • Professional attire required for conferences and hospital visits
