Job Description Summary

The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing organization to drive operational excellence to achieve strategic and sales objectives. This role plays a critical part in partnering with sales and marketing teams to maximize the impact of sales tools (SFDC) and business metrics/analytics. The focus for this role is to drive better decision making through sales process efficiency enhancements, opportunity/funnel analysis, and key business metrics reporting. Additionally, this role may perform other sales and compensation analytics including; data mining, quantifying, evaluating and transforming internal and external information into business intelligence to further drive the achievement of strategic sales objectives.

Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage account updates and hierarchies in Salesforce.com (SFDC) and liase with the North American Master Data team.

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to gather reporting requirements and build new reporting capabilities.

  • Perform data validation and end user testing of dashboards to ensure data accuracy and usability.

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure the best practices and processes are applied to the platform strategies through SFDC.

  • Support sales leaders with managing opportunity pipeline and planning requirements.

  • Provide training and onboarding to new associates as required. Develop training plans for all user levels. Maintain accurate and up-to-date training documents.

  • Performs other SFDC related duties and assignments as required; including case management and troubleshooting.

  • Support compensation related activities, as required.

  • Participate, lead and/or manage other Sales Operations projects as required.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • University graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Math, Science, or similar education.

  • 1 to 2 years of work experience (Co-op/internships experience included)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities required.

  • Salesforce.com experience is an asset.
