Job Description Summary
Project manage the implementation of Guardrails™ (and related) solutions into customer sites in a timely manner that ensures complete customer satisfaction and to maximize the revenue potential. This will involve consultation with and co-ordination of internal and external staff.
Provide expert consultation services to customers in relation to development of medication safety solutions and analysis of medication safety data. This includes customer report generation.
Co-ordinate and perform customer education activities in relation to the implementation and support of the Guardrails™ solution.
Actively work with local Sales Associates, Clinical Nurse Educators and external customers to support the sale and promotion of Guardrails™ in the region. This will include, but is not limited to, customer presentations and reports, development of product information for tenders, development of marketing and support material and execution of education activities.
Manage your time effectively to ensure all products and services offered are supported in each account in line with priority projects and Medication Safety Team directives.
Execution of additional “billable” services (Med. Safety audits, ongoing Guardrails™ data set development and CQI analysis).
Trade conference and exhibition attendance / co-ordination.
Continuously evaluate product, services and competition.
Effective communication skills and ability to interface with different nationalities and backgrounds
Minimum 5 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse or pharmacist in an acute care facility.
Thorough and recent knowledge of hospital medication processes and the issues associated with medication safety.
Experience in extended hospital roles such as management, education, research or risk management.
Flexibility to travel extensively within Australia and New Zealand, with frequent need to stay away from home, to travel outside Australia if required and to work/travel on weekends at times
Current driver’s licence
Demonstrated verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Strong PC skills with experience in the use of databases and query tools basic research and reporting tasks
Analytical, problem solving skills and project management experience.
Experience in managing and building cross border and cross functional teams
Evidence of effective documentation, planning, prioritisation and organising skills
Commercially aware of medication safety initiatives within the health care industry
Ability to think in a creative and “lateral” manner
High attention to detail.
