We are currently recruiting an experienced Suppliers Quality Account Leader (SQ-AL) to join our Quality Department at BD in Le Pont de Claix (Grenoble).

Suppliers Quality Account Leader (SQ-AL)

As a Suppliers Quality Account Leader (SQ-AL) you will represent BD at the Supplier and represent the Supplier at BD for all quality aspects. You will be responsible of the conformance to applicable quality specification of components, products, materials or services delivered by assigned Suppliers and of their Global Quality performance and continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities

  • Supporting selection decision process of identified prospective Suppliers.

  • Ensuring that all BD requirements are understood and addressed at the Supplier.

  • Solving problems related to Customer complaints or plant deviation management (in escalation or crisis mode, acting as the first point of contact in support to Plant and/or team and providing technical input, carrying out investigation assignments, report progress and delivering conclusion).

  • Leading technical visit or cause audits at Suppliers as well as participating in Supplier routine quality audits.

  • Negotiating Quality Agreements based on standard template.

  • Monitoring Supplier Quality performance.

  • Building strong partnership with Supplier (leading or assisting Supplier’s development & continuous improvement projects; keeping abreast of changes and future directions in the Supplier quality field; collecting and centralising any specific Supplier information

  • Answering audit solicitation from Customer, authorities & notified bodies for products or services related to assigned Suppliers. About you To deliver the results that we are looking for, you are a professional educated to degree-level (preferably in Materials Science or Engineering) with at least 3 years of experience in a quality and supplier / customer management role gained within high volume industry environment (Life Science, Consumer Health, Automotive sectors).You have strong manufacturing process understanding and demonstrated ability to discuss both technical and business issues with all levels of management within BD & Suppliers. You have analytical approach with the ability to synthetize complex or diverse information.In addition, you are self-directed, problem-solving person with high positive energy to take on continuous and complex business challenges in a fast-paced environment. While working within the BD Medical Pharmaceutical Systems unit, you animate the network to ensure coherence in front of Suppliers and you have excellent written and verbal communication skills which allow you to build collaborative relationships with diverse teams across the organization.You are fluent in English and you are willing to travel occasionally visiting assigned Suppliers (between 10% and up to 25%).
