Industrial Unit Manager
As the Industrial Unit Manager reporting to the Plant Director, you are responsible for manufacturing of products in alignment with our Safety, Quality, Deliveries and Cost objectives.
You will be promoting the culture of our BD Production System (Continuous Improvement based on 0 loss mindset and people engagement) to achieve the objectives.
You also are responsible for the development of his organization and associates competencies to meet our objectives.
Your main responsibilities
As the Industrial Unit Manager, you will be focusing on the below:
Responsible to provide a safe working environment to his staff and employees
Promote an environment to prevent safety accident.
Organize operations in full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and all applicable operating procedures.
Insure in process control efficiency and products traceability
Develop and implement action to improve quality in line with customer expectations
Implement CAPA following investigations and audits
Actively participate in internal or external (customers, notified body….) audits
Drive improvement of right the first level for product release
Work closely with plant quality department
Organize all resource to deliver forecasted products on time with the specific quality level (meet mix compliance target.
Optimize manning and assets utilization according to forecasted production and available equipment
Work closely with plant supply chain department for production planning management
Support industrialization of new product and new process technologies in his area
Prepare annual budget for his sector and define global and detailed objectives
Pilot actions plan to meet of C2W (cost to win) targets
Adjust organization according to forecast changes vs budget
Manage variance to budget and initiate action when necessary
Follow and improve the industrial unit performance in collaboration with the accounting department.
To deliver the results that we are looking for, you are a Pharmacist or have an Engineer background with a proven experience of minimum 5 years in a similar manufacturing position.
You also have:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence
An excellent management, interpersonal, communication and team working skills. This role will require active communication across all levels of the organization, including Maintenance, Supply Chain, HR, Quality and Continuous Improvement Teams
An effective written and verbal communication.
The ability to build and execute a 3/5 years strategy
The adaptability in a challenging, strict and changing industrial environment
Finally, you are fluent in both French and English
What we offer you
As the Industrial Unit Manager, you will be in charge of a challenging and an motivated perimeter of 300 people approximatively.
You will also be autonomous in your way of managing the team and dealing with the existing and new projects in a recognized international pharmaceutical company
As such, you'll be in direct contact with the Plant Management Committee and the R&D and Engineering representatives internally then with the Customers, Suppliers and Auditors externally.
