We are currently recruiting an experienced Customer Supply chain Leader to join our Worldwide Supply Chain department in Le Pont de Claix (Grenoble).

As a Customer Supply Chain Leader you ensure customer relationship on supply chain related activities.
You will lead monthly collaborative planning, support customer service / sales on any customer supply chain expectations requiring elaborated proposals or commitments.
You also drive supply chain initiatives to better integrate customer and BD supply chain.
As a Customer Supply Chain Leader you will have 3 main responsibilities :
- Drive superior levels of performance in the Demand & Supply processes
Firstly, you coordinate and drive regional supply-chain teams (GAM (Global Account Management) virtual team: Planning, Customer Service and Logistics) to achieve consistent level of performance in the end to end supply chain (forecasting, order management and delivery), in line with customers’ expectations.
You drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen performance level through leaner supply chain processes and more effective execution. You also ensure planning and inventory strategies implemented for GAM SKUs are in line with GAM’s and business’ objectives.
Moreover, you define with regional Planning appropriate inventory levels to deliver against OTIF goals while meeting the business’ overall inventory goals and you update and align with GAM (Sales).
You ensure planning and inventory strategies are shared and agreed with customers.
You ensure alignment and common understanding with respect to roles and responsibilities on planning and inventory strategies
In this respect, you drive and develop joint-planning activities (monthly / quarterly):
Preparation, and coordination of joint-planning meetings
Follow-up of action-plans to maximize the value of such forums
Drive the right level of attendance and engagement both at BD and with our customers
Ensure joint-planning covers both short and mid/long term horizon (12 to 18 months).
Demand Management : As a Customer Supply Chain Leader you contribute to improving forecast accuracy through the development of higher degree of intimacy with the GAM’s supply chain and demand organization.
You drive regular metrics and action plan reviews with customers.
- Contribute to developing key competitive advantages through value-added supply chain services
Secondly, you develop / strengthen supply chain to supply chain relationship with GAM accounts in order to identify opportunities for higher degree of supply chain integration with GAM accounts
In relation with Sales and Supply Chain, you support the design, the development and the deployment of value-added supply chain services, with the aim of :
Build competitive advantage to increase customer’s loyalty
Extract more value from customer
Drive more value through OTIF improvement and more agile supply chain
Support the development of a supply chain offer that supports Europe’s strategy.
You contribute to the implementation of the vendor management inventory process or other similar processes and tools to increase efficiency and optimize customers’ Total Cost of Ownership.
You actively contribute to building a business case and defining benefits and conditions of implementation for following supply chain services : consignment stock, reverse logistic for packaging recycling operation, delegation of incoming control and direct shipment from BD to customer plant.
- Lead supply chain binding activities and maintain a consistent insurance of supply approach (BCP).
Thirdly, you provide support to Sales and management for structuring the supply-chain-related sections of the supply agreements. Synthetize supply chain mechanisms such as forecast and order management, product management rules (MTO/MTS) or inventory management within supply agreement, in compliance with BDM-PS supply chain and legal strategy.
You build specific Business Continuity Plans (BCP) at customer request including BD plant network mapping, component sourcing alternatives and organization preparedness plan in case of major disruption. Support the development of an integrated BCP approach, consolidating purchasing, manufacturing and business approach.
Who you are ?
To deliver the results that we are looking for, you have a significant Supply Chain experience in an international environment.
Ideally coming from FMCG or automotive industry, you spent 5 years in a customer facing position, have a solid background in supply chain and have also successfully led supply chain integration projects between companies.
You also have :
A strong analytical skills and probing approach coupled with the ability to work well with people at all levels in the organization
An excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills. This role will require active communication across all levels of the organization
You demonstrate real Leadership, client-oriented and diplomatic
