The role: The Marketing Manager, Global & Strategic Accounts is responsible for planning and executing a variety of marketing programs – including account intelligence gathering, demand creation, reputation support and sales enablement - in collaboration with sales and other functions in targeted Pharmaceutical Systems’ global and strategic accounts to support sales goals and account growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand Pharmaceutical Systems (PS) customer priorities and plan, promote and execute a range of account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives in global and strategic accounts to achieve sales and pipeline goals that are aligned to those customer priorities

  • Translate sales objectives (both opportunity- and relationship-based) into marketing goals and objectives, and project plans and programs for target accounts

  • Provide ongoing data and insight on global & strategic accounts, their buying process, key stakeholders and contacts within these accounts

  • Educate account executives on potential role of marketing and ABM initiatives and cross-functional execution in target accounts

  • Partner with worldwide marketing functions to leverage existing knowhow, assets, content and tools, and design and execute specific marketing programs to engage with target accounts on behalf of sales, and demonstrate to sales reps how they can execute program elements on their own

  • Lead account monitoring with sales and cross-functional account teams to ensure account marketing goals, key contacts and account marketing plans remain on track

  • Build and own ABM metrics, working with Marketing and Commercial Excellence to provide regular activity and impact reporting

  • Develop and internally promote account-specific engagement marketing plans for global strategic accounts, updating these plans based on sales and account cross-functional team collaboration, proactively sharing learnings and best practices across account segments and with regional counterparts

  • Contribute to the growth of PS ABM capabilities and the broader WW Marketing organization as it continues to evolve and develop

  • Engage in an open and constructive manner with colleagues and customers from diverse backgrounds.

Success Metrics:

  • Global/strategic account opportunity pipeline and revenue growth

  • Completeness and accuracy of contact and account data for defined accounts

  • Account/Customer engagement, loyalty, satisfaction, Net Promoter Score

  • Sales utilization of marketing programs and feedback on these programs

  • Account customer feedback on marketing programs, adoption and utilization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a scientific discipline required

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or product management

  • Working knowledge and understanding of the pharma industry, broad therapeutic areas, drugs/treatments, and related regulatory, commercialization and compliance requirements

  • Prior international experience preferred

  • Experience in ABM strategic marketing to enterprise accounts desired

  • Established downstream marketing competency, having experience with account based marketing strategies and using 1:1/ 1: few tactics designed to penetrate targeted accounts

  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams across a complex matrix structure

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to effectively interface and build relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environment

  • Strong communicator with experience presenting to internal and external teams

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Highly proficient in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

  • Expertise with marketing automation software (Marketo) and Salesforce a plus

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time, including internationally

  • High level of motivation and drive
