About the role
Your primary responsibility as Tender & Sales Support Advisor would be to analyze and interpret tenders and develop market-specific responses for International markets such France and Benelux highlighting BD’s strengths and unique selling proposition. The goal would be for you to develop an expert product knowledge eventually that allows you to act as a trusted advisor for the International Sales Organization.
With increasing product knowledge, the candidate will be responsible for planning and execution of product trainings, supporting customer onsite visit, reference visits and solution design activities. Furthermore you are acting as subject matter expert to the international business in regards to the Dispensing portfolio.
Support the sales team with pre-tender and tender bidding strategies
Full project management for tenders
Report and analyze tender outcomes, create and share lessons learned to drive future improvement
Act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders engaging with them in strategic and commercial dialogues concerning the tender
Keep track of the developments in the local tender legislations to ensure correct procedure is followed and tender submissions are in line with the legal requirements and BD conditions of sales
Generating quotes during the pre-sales process or for sales opportunities without tender process
Support service contracts for France with that involves generating quotes, checking orders, reminding customers for purchase orders
Support of maintenance of Tender Repository tool to increase efficiency and accuracy in the Tender Management Process
Efficient support of analysis and continuous optimization of tender processes and tools
Strong collaboration with regional teams and proactively develop processes for new markets for tender readiness
Support the tender process after the installation by gathering BD’s commitments to allow to sales & GCS team to get revenue recognition or payment
Support the account department in the receivables process to ensure payments (linked to BD’s commitments above)
Support the pre-sales process by creating tailored presentations (coming from approved BD documents) that will support the quotation
Support interaction with third parties : ordering interfaces, building works and follow-up

What we expect
You have a bachelor's degree preferably with a focus on marketing, economics, healthcare or law. (Advanced degree preferred) and 4-6 years of similar experience or in International Business. You have an active and professional behavior as well as strong interpersonal skills and empathy.

Very good French, Dutch and English language skills
Knowledge of local tender legislation & practices, contracts and quote process.
Prior experience in tender management is advantageous
BD solutions/product knowledge is advantageous
