Job Description
In this role you will be accountable for the Quality Supplier Performances part of assigned categories and responsible for defining and executing the quality roadmap within those categories. You will lead the overall Supplier Quality allocated team and represents the voice of Quality at Supplier Management Operation (SMO) Category board.s.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for the Quality Management of Critical Suppliers for the business and for managing all Suppliers within one or several category of purchase, your missions will be to:
Lead the Quality Category Team including all worldwide allocated resources (Account leaders, project leaders, HAWA Quality operation, Plant Account leader supports) to ensure compliance to established procedures and meet business priorities.
Manage Quality Performance consistently measured against established procedure
Act on unsatisfactory performance or performance adverse trends
Manage Hypercare suppliers to bring them in targeted performance
Establish CI initiatives, as required, to drive performance excellence
Act as first escalation point for all major quality issues. Is the Customer facing escalation point of contact to decide on course of action and structure support toward resolution.
Discuss with SMO counter parts to agree on course of action, allocated cross functional team and leadership in managing crisis situations.
Contribute or lead Supplier topics from a Quality perspective both on the operational and strategic level
Build Supplier Relationship and knowledge on their quality operations, processes, methods, network, connected to Supplier Quality decision makers. Support Supplier segmentation governance / relationship model.
In this role you will lead all Supplier Management core processes under Quality Accountability including and not exhaustively: Quality contracts, Supplier Complaint, Supplier Change Management, for cause & routine audit program & Quality Performance. Contribute and represent quality pilar on other Supplier Management core processes such as Make vs Buy, Supplier Selection, Qualification & Approval, Long Term Capacity Planning, Supplier Relationship, Change to win.
More broadly you will interface with internal customers/stakeholders on quality activities related to his/her category and support customer facing team for all quality topics related to supplier.
As Quality Member of the SMO category board you need to partner with the category SMO OPS Leader and Procurement Counterpart to:
Build the category Strategy / Roadmap including expectations, deliverables
Capture & define projects pipeline to support, including new product developments, Assurance of Supply, change to win, risk mitigation, continuous improvement
Evaluate & secure resources needs. Prioritize projects based on approved budgets
Continuously assess global Supplier Performance (Quality/Delivery/Cost)
Execute the internal & external governance model
Ensure execution on track including review of KPIs and promptly address undesirable trends. On time project, BRL, Customer Complaint investigation leadtime, …
Address together high-priority issues and finding solutions
Who are you?
Ideally coming from a background in Supply Chain/Quality/industrial or any related field you have a solid experience of minimum 5 years in a similar high volume industry and regulations (pharmaceutical or others) working in an international environment facing and managing customers or suppliers relationships.
A proven, hands on, experience working in a manufacturing environment would be a strong plus.
