Our Fraga facility is home to approximately 600 associates and specialises in the development and manufacture of plastic, purpose-designed drug delivery systems which are supplied to the pharmaceutical industry for filling and distributed to end-users worldwide.

As Process Engineer reporting to our Production Supervisor, you’ll be accountable and lead technical support for the specification, purchase, installation and continuous improvement of our production processes. That’ll involve overseeing projects including new products, capacity expansion and process development on pilot and industrial tools and equipment. You’ll also be responsible for managing and developing projects to improve and optimize our processes, using the methodology Six Sigma with the collaboration of Maintenance and Engineering Department as well as Quality, CI and Sustainability departments in its activities in the Production area.

Educated to HND level in Engineering, preferably specializing in Mechanical, Polymer Science or a related discipline, you’ll have a proven engineering track record in continuous improvement within a medium- to high-volume manufacturing environment. Your robust knowledge and experience of process development, will complement your skills in problem analysis and fault-finding. You also have a strong grasp of structured and controlled working practices, with clear and accurate documentation, reporting and presentation skills and the ability to prioritize. In addition to first-class project management (MS Project) and analytical / communication skills, your other attributes include:

• experience of Six Sigma methodologies

• knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Regulatory requirements for the medical industry

• the ability to work within a Clean Room environment.
