Job Description

Our Fraga facility is home to approximately 300 associates and specialises in the development and manufacture of plastic, purpose-designed drug delivery systems which are supplied to the pharmaceutical industry for filling and distributed to end-users worldwide.

As Quality Assurance Engineer reporting to our Quality Assurance Leader, you’ll be accountable for supporting new product development and product maintenance. That’ll involve support to all assigned projects, manufacturing facilities, and international suppliers. You’ll also be responsible for developing and implementing quality improvement programs

In addition to close liaison Design/Development and Manufacturing project teams, your other key Quality Assurance responsibilities include:

• Ensure Design Control Elements are satisfied

• Assist/conduct Failure Investigations and problem solving sessions

• Coordinate and participate in process and equipment validation

• Development and execution of test methods and functional testing of medical devices

Educated to Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Science, you’ll have a proven quality assurance track record in Healthcare/ Pharmaceutical / Chemical within a medium- to high-volume manufacturing environment. Your robust knowledge and experience in process and product validation, sampling, sample size determination, DOE, process analysis/capability, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, and MSA using common statistical tools. In addition to first-class project management and analytical skills, your other attributes include:

• experience of practical metrology (measuring and testing)

• experience in conducting root cause analysis

• experience in process / equipment validation.
