Product managers, whether at a country or regional level, are instrumental in driving marketing excellence to ensure marketing becomes a core competency and source of competitive advantage for BD in Europe. These positions are critical to making fact-based and strategic business decisions, driving rigorous and disciplined processes and marketing strategies to unlock opportunities in a consistent manner to drive sustainable profitable growth.
In cooperation with the DS CE and WEU marketing teams, you will be responsible for implementing and executing the core microbiology and blood culture solution strategy in Central Europe. As Product Manager, you will work in close contact with the Diagnostic Systems team Central Europe, the respective Western-European product managers as well as with the BDx Product Manager Central Europe to help drive the Diagnostic Systems Central European business and BDx GSA patient safety strategy in order to become a more solutions and patient safety driven organization. Furthermore, you will:
Manage the portfolio of Core Clinical and Blood Culture solutions to maximize growth and profitability in Central Europe, according to regional marketing targets and guidelines.
Partner with the sales organization to understand customer needs and position BD´s portfolio and capabilities in a credible and differentiated way.
Implement and maintain "best practices" in product management, while managing extensive interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
You are a product manager with a min. of 3 years experience in a commercial role. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience working in a matrix organization, ideally working in a multi-cultural environment. Furthermore, you are:
Diagnostic or Microbiology background preferred
Dynamic, innovative, engaging and have an inclusive personality
Fluent in English and German both oral and written
You have business and financial acumen
Willingness of 50% travel (country or region related)
