Position Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for providing marketing support to Diabetes Care with specific focus on gathering customer insights, analysis, launch & commercialization, marketing planning & execution, content development, communications, brand management, market shaping/ development with an objective of growing the BD Diabetes Care business in Indian market. The above would be driven by following global marketing processes and will be aligned to the country & regional business strategies.

Principal Responsibilities

Formulate and execute strategy for BD Diabetes Care and ensure implementation of key initiatives as under:

  • Work closely with Marketing Manager for strategic marketing initiatives for developing the business strategy and marketing plan for the business

  • Drive market situational analysis: Understand customer needs, formulate purchase processes, segmentation of customers, key market trends, size and growth of segments and competitor landscaping

  • Drive appropriate product mix (managing the portfolio strategy), pricing strategies, new product launches, go to market plans and promotional & market development activities

  • Use various data points such as market trends and sales trends for launching effective sales promotional initiatives to drive business growth and profitability

  • Lead the KOL relationships through field visits with sales team. Plan and organize trade shows, workshops and conferences along with application team and sales team

  • Enable sales team by developing content, collaterals, profiling & mapping of customers and administering internal trainings

  • Drive execution of marketing activations by working closely with sales team and creating the dashboards for effective tracking of activities, channel wise sales, SFDC planning & reporting
