Job Description SummaryThe Program Manager/Core Team Leader is responsible for leading customer customizations with high business impact within a SAIS platform to achieve successful commercialization of drug-device combination products . This Leader will work with the Product Platform Leader to help define appropriate level of customizations, risks, timeline and drive execution of deliverables and communicate to the customers effectively while managing and meeting customer expectations. A high degree of achievement of deliverables and discipline is expected in this role.

Job Description

  • Responsible for leading one or more complex customer customization projects for the Self-Injection Platform for Pharmaceutical Systems with high impact to business

  • Drives alignment between customer’s requirements, expectations and BD’s cross-functional teams to achieve successful commercialization

  • Partner with Product Platform Leaders in defining product roadmap for the platform based on customer insights

  • Possess strong business and financial acumen to manage the end-to-end expectations and deliverables to the customer

  • A key member of the BD customer facing team

  • Responsible for providing guidance and inputs to the customer facing team on customization options, timeline, risks of customization of BD devices working under the guidance of the Product Platform Leaders

  • Key focus on management and execution of deliverables to achieve successful drug-device commercial release

  • Lead the development of scope of work of customized solutions

  • Project Execution

  • Ensure successful, on-time delivery of milestones and minimizing risks to BD and customers with the intent of meeting customer’s drug development timelines

  • Ability to manage complex product customization and integration projects

  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams, comprising representatives from relevant functions.

  • Develop working relationships with cross-functional team members, leadership and Product Platform Leaders to drive successful execution of customization projects

  • Develop project time-lines and resource assignment with a keen eye on contingencies, risks, probability of project success

  • Communicate product progress to stakeholders and facilitate decision-making within the Core Team and represent all aspects of the core team at appropriate meetings

  • Coordinate relevant project reviews – Functional, Business, Interim, etc.

  • Focus Core Team meetings on looking ahead at program issues and risks; identify the need for and initiate technical and functional reviews

  • Lead the overall planning, leadership and execution of all activities related to all functional core team members

  • Responsible for driving improvement in process, execution and efficiency of projects to achieve best-in-class delivery of milestones and customer commitments
