Senior Manager, Commercial Enablement-Commercial Contracting Technologies

Reporting to the Director, Customer MDM and Commercial Enablement, the Senior Manager, Commercial Enablement-CLM, CPQ Technologies, will own the planning and execution of strategic projects on behalf of the US Region for a portfolio of applications related to Commercial Contracting. Working closely with Sales Effectiveness, the IT organization and US Region stakeholders, this role is responsible for all aspects of the development/implementation of projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new and enhanced capabilities, system enhancements and projects. This role will be responsible to drive integrated projects related to Contract Lifecycle Management and Configure Price Quote, along with other Commercial Contracting solutions. The overall objective for this position is to ensure all business requirements are managed correctly and deliverables are implemented on time and budget. This role will ensure all parties involved in project(s), both internally and externally, are fully aware of the requirements, dependencies and timelines and are working toward them effectively. The Senior Manager will design and drive programs across applications related to or integrated with Saleforce.com technologies, using tools including but not limited to Apttus CLM and CPQ and Oracle CPQ. This role will be responsible to manage a small team of internal and external resources dedicated to specific projects led by the Commercial Enablement team for the related technologies and will work closely with Commercial Operations teams that support contracting as well as the individual business unit teams. This role will also be responsible for design and execution of capability roadmaps for associated platforms and will ensure partnership with IT and implementations partners for technical execution. Additionally, the Senior Manager will provide support and interact with various US Region leadership councils, including the Commercial Council and the Sales Council.

Job Description

· Develop and enable roadmap for capabilities related to Commercial Contracting, including CLM, CPQ and other emerging applications

· Manage a team of internal and external architects and analysts to drive projects and enhancements, as well as production support activities

· Support management of third party implementation partner resources for project execution

· Establish, define and monitor key metrics for the team

· Drive change management efforts (e.g. training) to ensure successful application of systems.

· Serve as key Leader/Liaison for development, requirements and testing of assigned applications across U.S. business units

· Ensure engagement of Commercial Operations teams, IT partners and implementation partners to meet project deliverables

· Provide appropriate level of project status updates to Commercial Operations and IT Leadership teams as well as other business partners and stakeholders

· Provide governance direction for all solutions within the CE roadmaps and ensure that the overall data and systems strategies are considered in individual projects and solutions

· Work closely with Sales Enablement Leadership to ensure execution of key priorities

· Partner with other Commercial Enablement teams managing projects related to Salesforce.com, Master Data Management, and Analytics

· Continue to serve as Apttus/Oracle CPQ expert to ensure that the applications are maximized; remain current on applicable technology enhancements and roadmaps

· Identify and implement strategies to drive adoption of the platform

· Ensure that all projects drive toward a high standard of Customer Experience

Requirements

·BA/BS required (in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, 10+ years of experience in the applicable area)

·5+ years of leading complex integrated projects related to applications including Salesforce.com, CLM/CPQ technologies

·Experience in implementation of CLM/CPQ related projects

·Apttus Certification and strong working knowledge of the application

·Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

·Proven ability to work independently, and balance priorities in a dynamic environment with multiple assigned projects and tasks

·Understanding of master and transactional data and technical integration

·Understanding of Commercial Contracting Processes including Contract Execution, Membership Management and Pricing

·Experience in driving large integrated programs and projects

·Experience in managing implementation partners and external resources

·Ability to communicate the results of analysis to senior leaders and front-line management in order to elevate issues and effect process improvements.

·Extensive and demonstrated background in effectively managing people and fostering career development; proven coaching, mentoring and leadership skills

·Ability to build and motivate a team to achieve well communicated expectations

·Strong communications and change management leadership experience

·Travel 20% required
