BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Process Improvement Analyst in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey
Job Description SummaryAs the BD Global Services expands its IT and Shared Services capabilities, we need to ensure that our process quality keeps in sync with the expectations of our stockholders, regulators and customers, both internal and external.
As a key member of the Service Control Team within Global Service Management, the Process Improvement Analyst is accountable for facilitation, analysis, coordination and monitoring of processes within the Global Services Organization. This position is responsible for identifying and quantifying improvement opportunities and bringing together process owners to facilitate agreements. Also responsible for ensuring the agreed changes are implemented and that the benefits are quantified. The Process Improvement Analyst will work in a team setting to achieve improvement targets of 10% annually.
Process Definition– Works with Process Owners to document and improve processes. Facilitates conversations and maintains focus on the end to end flows, role definitions and handoffs. Ensures processes are complete, compliant, and documented clearly. Defines key performance indicators and ensures data is being captured to measure processes. Reviews formal process documentation such as SOPs, SWIs, Templates & Forms as well as training content.
Process Analysis– Works with associates from finance, data, and various process owners to analyze processes and recommend improvements. Establishes baseline and target process metrics, facilitates brainstorming sessions, conducts Root Cause Analysis, and impact assessments. Identifies and evaluates continuous improvement opportunities based on data analysis of impact/cost to implement vs. expected benefits/savings. Presents recommendations and justifications to process governance forums.
Process Adoption– Facilitates planning and supports execution of process improvements. Ensures related technology changes are integrated into process improvement plans. Ensures appropriate organizational change management activities are conducted, including communications and training.
Process Control– Reviews process metrics with process owners and scorecards process continuous improvement benefits. Conducts periodic reviews of processes. Identifies, proposes and implements new technologies and techniques for process continuous improvement.
5 years experience in ISO / FDA regulated environments, preferably medical device industry.
5 years experience working with information technology processes such as SDLC, ITIL, etc.
5 years experience with formal continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or TQM

Advanced PC skills in MS Office, Sharepoint and Qlikview a plus
