Job Description SummaryThe role of Solutions Integration Lead and Portfolio, Projects & Change, BDI Interventional BDI is to serve as a key driver on the business partner team for day-to-day effectiveness and efficiency of the team. The primary focus is to ensure that BDI’s portfolio of work and the corresponding projects, plans, status reports, resources, etc. are delivered as planned and communicated within the Technology and Global Services (TGS) organization. This individual will interface with both TGS’s Functional Excellence and TGS’s Communications & Adoption teams to ensure that both portfolios and messaging are linked together and connected. This role also has accountability for providing the team with hands-on support for the needed change management through consistent and meaningful touchpoints and experiences. This leadership position reports directly to the VP, Busniess Partner BDI.

Job Description

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the “right hand” to the VP Business Partner BDI to ensure BDI is working and delivering against the defined portfolio as well as the budget

  • Drive portfolio and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication. This includes managing escalation, avoiding risk and delivering the output

  • Organize the insights and performance metrics for BDI

  • Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans, including but not limited to, communication plans, roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans and contingency plans

  • Partner with TGS Communications & Adoption to draft announcements and supporting materials, conduct briefings, and prepare the business partner team to deliver any corresponding required messaging

  • Work with TGS Functional Excellence to ensure that portfolios are integrated into the TGS operating model and meet any compliance or risk requirements

  • Coordinate and/or lead large projects or initiatives as needed for BDI

  • Partner with BDI business partner leadership to establish the continuous improvement mindset and activate it across the team

  • Collaborate with other TGS portfolio teams to integrate status and support project implementation

  • Serve as a continuous connector. Energized by a role that is focused on partnership and facilitation. Operates through the lens of what can we do to simplify and improve things

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic understanding, change management experience and exceptional communication and analytic skills together.

In addition, this person should also possess:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline

  • 8+ years of experience in portfolio, project or change management

  • Experience working on budgets and in resource planning

  • Shows ability to identify and engage the key people needed to successfully plan and execute complex projects or programs

  • Must have experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies and have the ability to formulate programs to generate excitement and engagement

  • Ability to influence and break down silos within an organization as well across organizations

  • Ability to communicate complex business / technical challenges in a simplified manner

  • Must be a leader who can influence stakeholders in written and oral communications

  • Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods

  • Highly collaborative work style which includes working effectively across all organizational levels

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and in overcoming ambiguity

  • Leading by example, mentoring, and motivating others all around you

  • Deep analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
