The Global Services (GS) Business Relationship Management (BRM) Analyst – Quality, Regulatory , based primarily in Franklin Lakes, NJ, will report to the Director of Business Relationship Management – Quality, Regulatory, Procurement and Product Solutions, working across the Functions, Businesses and Regions to match business strategy and needs with Global Services solutions. The GS BRM Analyst will partner with external and internal leaders to understand emerging technology trends to bring to the table innovative solutions.

The GS BRM Analyst must have a strong appreciation of the criticality of information to the business and the need for a Global Services strategy and vision to support the overall business objectives. The position will need excellent facilitator skills working amongst the various Quality and Regulatory groups, as well as be a skilled negotiator, a diplomat and good communicator when dealing with all levels of the organization.

The GS BRM Analyst will partner with the key Global Service (GS) and Global Information Security (GIS) functions to ensure GS is achieving service and operation Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for tickets, projects and global implementations. Where improvement is needed, continuous improvement methodologies are applied to improve metric variances.

Portfolio management of incoming, in process and completed projects will be central to this position. Utilizing the Global System management systems to ensure work efforts for a particular fiscal year and the link to the business and Global Services strategy and roadmaps to maximize benefits of the investment will be paramount.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Build effective relationship with Quality and Regulatory stakeholders

  • Align to Quality and Regulatory Strategy and support the Annual Strategic Review (ASR) Planning

  • Serve as Process and Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Quality and Regulatory processes and tools

  • Be familiar with emerging technology and bring solutions to Quality, Regulatory and IT/Global Services

  • Define and actively bring improvements to IT Services & Capabilities

  • Contribute to the maintenance of IT roadmaps for Quality and Regulatory

  • Influence the standardization of technology platforms with functional and architecture leads

  • Participate in Global Services Management Systems continuous improvement.

  • Ensure Global Services Operations, Project and Portfolio management processes are adhered to.

  • Present solutions with solid financial analysis and be able to discuss trade-offs and opportunities

  • Escalate issues and provide process first direction in line with Global Service offerings

  • As directed and required, participate in leadership activities and work across global functional teams


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent industry specific work experience (10+ years).

  • 10 years professional progressive experience in similar function/role, within medical device, healthcare regulatory industry.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.

  • Subject Matter Expertise

  • Extensive Experience with Process and Technology support of the Quality, Regulatory functions within the Medical Device industry.

  • Global ERP Quality Management (i.e. SAP ECC), Quality Management Software Systems (i.e. Trackwise QMS - CAPA Management, Complaint Management, Audit Management), Laboratory Information Management Systems (i.e. Labware LIMS, Lonza MODA), Asset and Calibration Management Systems (i.e. BlueMountain RAM).

  • Account Management and Consulting Skills

  • Business relationship, strategic and thought leader, business understanding, process and technology savvy, cross-functional knowledge, good Interpersonal Skills.

  • Solid communication skills including presentation before a group, across electronic mediums and one-on-one (virtually and in-person); coordinate working across resources in virtual teams.

  • Process and Project Management Skills

  • Strong prior project management experience involving planning and execution of small to mid-size projects; issue and problem management, financial acumen.

  • Resilient prioritizing and multi-tasking skills to work within tight deadlines; strong ability to work under pressure.

  • Change Management Skills

  • Good communication, organization change management, conflict management, knowledge of IT services & products.

  • Ability to think laterally, extending and applying process and controls across disparate functions and business units.
