Job Description Summary
At BD, we have been on a journey to strengthen our core priorities including transforming our differentiated value to our customers around the world. Part of this journey includes the development of an integrated marketing campaign that enhances our value-based solutions offering. As a member of the global marketing team for the Lab Specimen Management Business Line within the Integrated Diagnostic Solutions business unit, the Global Marketing Manager is responsible to lead the value creation efforts for the omni-channel integrated marketing campaign.
Position will be responsible to develop, deploy and lead strategies that enhances our value proposition by generating incremental value, establish reasons-to-believe and strengthen BD’s leadership position in the Specimen Management category. This includes the ideation, generation, development, approval and deployment of clinical, economic, customer/partner testimonial evidence, claims matrix, and value-based tools. This position will closely collaborate with various functions including Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, HEOR and Marketing teams (both global and regional teams).
The Global Marketing Manager reports to the Senior Global Marketing Manager within Lab Specimen Management.
Responsible for value creation for the Specimen Management portfolio of products, service and solutions that will be incorporated into messaging, communication (digital/non-digital), sales tools, etc… which will be utilized in the omni-channel integrated marketing campaign.
Conceptualize and champion future cross portfolio clinical and economic studies in partnership with Medical Affairs and HEOR. Work closely with regional marketing and sales teams to identify and capture customer testimonials and develop case studies that can be used for promotion.
Work closely with regional partners (Marketing, Sales and Medical Affairs), customers and KOLs to strengthen value offer and partnership by developing programs (webinars, symposiums, trade events, etc…) that supports the integrated marketing campaign.
Contribute to the implementation of innovative digital solutions that support value offers and drive desired behaviors for target audience.
Drive current and future opportunities to enhance customer experience CX.
Define goals and metrics to track the elements of the integrated marketing campaign impact and offer recommendations
Manage Legal, Medical Affairs and Regulatory review process for integrate marketing campaign
Design and lead marketing campaigns to drive commercial growth by developing differentiated value propositions that address customers unmet needs through evidence generation and dissemination.
Investigate new solution opportunities and make business cases that clearly quantify the commercial potential, including market potential, customer requirements, competitive assessment, pricing, and costs.
Drive business line growth by leading commercial strategies outside product line responsibilities across business groups and units, linked directly to the long-term growth objectives for the business.
Develop and manage external relationships with vendors as needed to achieve business objectives, being the point of contact for any interactions, including status updates, scope of work management, tracking timelines, ensuring deadline, etc.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s Degree in science related field or business. MBA or advanced degree a strong plus.
5 years + of relevant marketing and/or commercial experience in life sciences, or other healthcare field with a consistent track-record of high performance and results.
Prior background and knowledge of Lab medicine, medical or clinical industry.
Prior experience in health economics and digital marketing will be a strong plus
Experience working cross-functionally and globally is preferred.
Experience in customer facing roles is a plus.
