Job Description SummaryThis leader will develop and execute the marketing strategy for a highly dynamic and growing platform within the Medication Delivery Solutions business (MDS). Primary responsibilities will include leading global efforts to drive evidenced-based market development as well as identifying customer needs to drive growth into existing and new markets. The leader will have oversight and manage an expanding portfolio, optimizing the complete life cycle including new development. Responsibilities:

  • Provides strategic direction, prioritizes resources and gains support from the organization to ensure successful launches and related commercialization efforts.

  • Guides the development of all marketing plans including the annual Global Marketing Plan in line with business performance, vision, strategy and goals.

  • Leads the identification and management of critical issues for customers and creates market shaping and development opportunity solutions.

  • Utilizes and activates principles of segmentation, targeting, value proposition development

  • Responsible for partnering with core team leads and marketing associates for business case development for new innovation opportunities.

  • Establishes, implements and maintains "best practices" in brand marketing and product development marketing.

  • Ensures market information is acquired, competitive activity is monitored, and customer needs are identified.

  • Works within relevant program teams as a leader or member.

Required knowledge and experience:

Requires a B.A. / B.S. and minimum of ten (10) years product and/or market management with a consistent track-record of high performance and results.

MBA strongly preferred.

Medical Device experience preferred

Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.

Proven ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing.

Experience using internal phase-gate product development process and market research and segmentation methodology
