Summary:

The Global Clinical Solutions Manager is responsible for supporting the ongoing development and execution of MPS value offering of solutions around our key growth initiatives (OVA, Vascular HAI, etc.); patient/HCW safety while ensuring alignment with the US sales strategy

This role will be responsible for leading the implementation of clinical solution-selling services and capabilities of the US sales and clinical teams across multiple VAD and VMS product platforms to drive growth and efficiency for performance. The Global Clinical Solutions Manager should have first-hand experiences in our customers’ environment as well as credentials that enhance the credibility with clinical customer stakeholders as we collaborate to advance their goals and improve outcomes. Must be able to support and drive strategy development and execution with targeted performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

This position will work closely with members of the Regional Commercial teams across Sales and Clinical to lead the implementation and delivery of an MDS suite of customer focused initiatives, based on the goals of the customer that ultimately will support product standardization, policy development, and best practices.

  • Get alignment between the MDS solutions initiatives and clinical/sales to the goals and priorities within the regional/country healthcare system

  • Support global clinical VAM workstreams & services associated with both clinical assessments, education/training programs, and surveillance/data analytics

  • Lead and ensure the execution of new programs designed to drive standardization and utilization across the VAD and VMS portfolios (VAM/AllPoints)

  • Support WW Regions secure new engagements for BD Signature Solutions within targeted countries and accounts. Work with the sales, clinical and clinical solutions teams to secure appropriate team assistance for assessment data collection activities

  • Support the development of unique clinical solutions/services that differentiate MDS within the marketplace that drive best practice with key clinical decision makers within accounts

  • Foster relationships with regional commercial teams (sales consultants and clinical champions) around best practice, internal training and education that leverages the broader solution offerings and commercial brand

  • Support the sales process with customer clinical champions, influencers and decision maker - within the different regions to ensure alignment from the buying process to execution around the management of the conversion Support the development of clinical consultant teams in the global regions as it relates to customer assessment engagement activities.

  • Support and communicate across regions to align and collaborate on best practice regarding customer solutions

  • Work collaboratively with information technology to ensure that assessment output is measureable and can be used for desired metrics. Help regional teams compile the data post assessment and perform analysis.

  • Develop training for all members of the applicable BD teams (Sales/Platforms /SCG) to deliver messaging around offered solutions

  • Assist in the development of business rules as they pertain to rigor around assessment activities to ensure that appropriate steps are being fulfilled

  • Create regional dashboards to track progress and drive execution of implementation results (both customer and MDS)

Position Requirements:

  • BSN degree required, CRNI a plus

  • Between 5-10 years experience in managing and educating others

  • Between 5-10 years experience in "solutions" based selling (support)

  • Possesses solid computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

  • Travel frequency ranges between 25-50% each month - both domestic and international

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10+ years of experience within healthcare industry

  • Previous experience in sales or working directly with hospital customers to implement effective changes that deliver measureable improvement in clinical and economic outcomes for customer

  • Strong presentation skills, and project management capabilities

  • Strong communication skills with all members of the healthcare teams (external and BD)

  • Knowledgeable with Lean Six Sigma principles and methodology

  • Demonstrated ability to lead without authority

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across matrix organization
