Main Responsibilities

Application Specialist is responsible for the installation of a wide range of products and services that involve extensive customer interaction. The Application Specialist works closely with teammates and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction. Possess close understanding of systems application and interface. All these activities require a candidate with highly motivated and customer-oriented, he/she needs superior communication and excellent planning/organizational skills.

Duties / Accountibilities:

  • Demonstrates a working understanding of products, related technologies (hardware and software) and the Application process

  • Independently executes assigned deliverables from the Application plan as performing all the necessary meetings with the customer, both on-site and remotely

  • Work with the Project Management Office in coordinating and performing all the project phases including equipment/software installation and customers training

  • Collaboration with Solution Management for handover of information from Presales phase to ensure seamless continuation of workflow design during implementation

  • Undertake workflow analysis in order to understand current customer’s workflows

  • Work closely with the server integration specialists to align interfacing requirements with the customers clinical workflow

  • Qualifications

  • Technical/IT background, experience with virtual platforms and networking systems

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering and/or at least 3 years related of experience working in the IT industry including

  • Strong technical orientation and experience supporting proprietary and standard applications. Have the ability to troubleshoot problems in a logical manner

  • Ability to work independently as well as an effective team player with strong desire to deliver results

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at a time, prioritize as necessary so that all clients receive the highest level of customer service. Must have clear, concise written and verbal communication skills

  • High availability to work out of the office mainly in Italy (at least 50% of the time)

  • Speak fluently English language

  • Clinical background, specific to pharmacy and nursing workflow, optional

  • Adaptable and meticulous with strong analytical skills
