We are currently recruiting an experienced Marketing Effectiveness Manager to join our European Marketing unit for Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) in Eysins, Switzerland. It is a new role with strategic importance to our business.

As a Marketing Effectiveness Manager, you will initiate and drive key marketing initiatives and capabilities and ensure effective adoption and execution of best practice marketing and training to support MDS commercial objectives and effectiveness across Europe. You will report to our European Senior Marketing Director of MDS.
You will be responsible to set up a team within the MDS marketing organization that is focused on cross platform and solution capabilities and projects. The scope for this role includes creating and driving high standard training programs, developing a model for inside sales/ecommerce and driving marketing effectiveness programs and capability such as market intelligence and commercialization excellence. This role will also be directly responsible to support new commercial initiatives such as portfolio and solutions expansion and new revenue models, supporting the MDS leadership team in assessing and implementing such opportunities.
You will have three direct reports and the support of other functions within MDS and the company. Effective communication, engagement and collaboration is key to this role.
Setting up the marketing effectiveness team and developing a marketing effectiveness charter aligned with MDS strategic and business objectives.
Building key capability and recommending viable solutions within the defined scope (including new channel sales and marketing, training academy, effective marketing practices around segmentation, commercialization, intelligence and other initiatives).
Setting up effective processes and identifying optimization opportunities related to marketing effectiveness. Working closely with related functions and leveraging existing CRM platforms to support initiatives.
Identifying and/or managing new product or solution opportunities within European scope as articulated by the MDS leadership team.
Ensuring capability to capture and provide up-to-date and timely market knowledge on market trends, market size and competition to enable fact based decision and guide the MDS team on marketing effectiveness.
Building collaborative relationships within the region and worldwide teams and aligning with global MDS strategic initiatives.
Coaching and developing of direct team.
Monitoring and addressing marketing and training effectiveness indicators.
To deliver the results that we are looking for, we need a professional educated to degree-level in business or science (Marketing Diploma or MBA preferred), with a strong International or European experience in the Life Science or Consumer Health sectors in either marketing or business management, business development or in other relevant, cross-functional roles in a matrix environment.
You have strong commercial awareness and understanding of dynamics within the medical / health sectors, including regulatory requirements with a good understanding of your responsibilities and a commercial effectiveness as well as solid competencies in e-commerce and digital marketing.
In addition, you are results-focused and have a leadership mind-set with accountability and willingness to make decisions. While working across the MDS business unit, you will build collaborative relationships within the region and with worldwide teams; your communications capabilities will be paramount to gaining support and commitment from others and to drive execution of your strategies and recommendations.
You are perfectly fluent in English (speaking another major European language would be an advantage). Finally, you are willing to travel regularly, in and outside of Europe (minimum 20% and up to 40%).
