We have recently been on an acquisition program and purchased a number of key players in the medical device market. We currently have 4 sites in Ireland which are in the middle of expansion and improvement works. With all these exciting new developments taking place we now have a vacancy for the Territory Sales Manager based in the Dublin Region to join our BD Dispensing Business. The product portfolio includes high-value capital equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for achieving defined sales and product targets;

  • Develop productive and sustained relationships with key customers, who either influence or implement dispensing buying decisions;

  • Establish a comprehensive pipeline of opportunities. Effectively manage the pipeline and ensure the status of each account is accurate and updated within SFDC;

  • Accountable for all pricing proposals being agreed with RBM and price exception approval gained through the MAM Process prior to proposals being issued;

  • Fully understand hospital processes to be able to design solutions and be capable of delivering, compelling arguments for the appropriate use of the BD Dispensing product range, and service offerings;

  • To be fully familiar with competitor products;

  • To be an expert in the creation and execution of Tender and Framework procurement processes within the NHS;

  • Ability to gather/utilize market information and construct meaningful short/long term plans for each hospital account.

The Ideal candidate will have 5yrs proven sales experience preferably gained within the healthcare industry (High-value capital solution sales). You will have strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others. You will have full knowledge of the tender and procurement process within the HSE, preferably with regard to long-term hospital equipment purchasing. You need to have experience and confidence in selling into a hospital setting and managing hospital-based accounts. You need to be able to positively influence HSE customers at all levels and build sustainable productive relationships.

The Ideal candidate will have an understanding of the healthcare system processes, with a high level of business acumen and ability to build financial proposals. You will embody trust, integrity and ethics inside and outside the Company and ensure mobility within the assigned territory.

The ideal person will be able to identify business opportunities in relation to growth and retention strategies. You will be positive and pro-active with proven high-performance and results in orientated skills. You will continually meet commitments. You will have a conscientious approach to work and be able to work autonomously. You are a capable team member who is willing to act the on behalf of the team and displays a positive and professional attitude both internally and externally. You will have demonstrable organisation & negotiation skills.

You will have full competency in PC Skills – use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Customer Relationship Management Software and Internet applications.

You are someone who is committed to professional self-development and who positively adopts a continuous learning approach and applies learnings proactively. You will be required to attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions to promote the BD company image for a selected range of products. You are required to build business relationships with relevant key opinion leaders.
