BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Marketing Associate - Post Market Surveillance in Covington, Georgia
Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for assisting product management employees in the marketing support activities of a single or multiple product lines within the Bard Medical Division portfolio of products and to coordinate those activities with other BMD employees.
Manage and execute all marketing activities related to post-market surveillance for BD Urology and Critical Care product lines.
Independently lead efforts to conduct on-going IFU, sales tools, and claims reviews, as needed.
Manage on-going activities associated with maintaining / updating / supporting legacy products.
Conduct additional commercial and strategic analyses as needed for all legacy products.
Manage product discontinuation activities and communications.
Support product management team with planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics consistent with franchise goals.
Develop concepts and manage approvals for BMD labeling / promotional / support materials.
Provide ongoing support to product management team in communication to the field sales team.
Provide support to product management team in release of new products.
Assemble resources and work with others to accomplish and manage projects as they occur in the context of the business needs.
B.S.A./B.A. four-year degree required, preferably with a major in marketing, engineering or natural sciences.
Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint.
Strong interpersonal skills required in the areas of verbal and written communications, customer focus, professionalism, coaching, and team building.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
Proven ability to identify problems and root causes and propose potential solutions and initiate action independently.
Strongly motivated, is able to achieve work goals, and executes through formal channels.
Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Demonstrated ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Proven ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Proven ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Proven ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Demonstrated ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Effective written, verbal and presentation skills in the area of technical/clinical applications.
