We are actively seeking a tenacious Account Manager professional to drive the growth for pouch packaging business in the US. Pouch packaging is a technology to individually repackage medication for patients with the goal to improve the medication experience and improve adherence. The technology has been adopted by major online pharmacies in the US. BD has recently launched a disruptive packaging technology that is now scaled in the US. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in account management who is highly organized, is experienced in working with enterprise accounts, has experience with disruptive, fast scaling technologies (e.g. start-ups) and is passionate about overachieving goals and delivering on the highest standards. This opportunity offers a strategic, creative, fast paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you’ll be at the center of driving BD innovation.

This is a Remote role ideally located in the Boston or Seattle area.


  • Own all the communication to a large online pharmacy retailer

  • Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the customer enterprise

  • Partner with solution design, product management and technical experts to develop the right solution for the customer

  • Manage customer expectations and clearly communicate the solution design

  • Partner with product management and the sales organization to build an effective sales process and approach

  • Partner with product management and the customer to understand unmet needs and improve the offering

  • Explore new business opportunities with strategic accounts


  • BS degree in business or economics with several years of work experience in key account management for fast growing investment goods

  • Profound interest in medical device technology and pharmacy processes

  • Proven track record of consistent account growth and exceeding sales goals

  • Proven track record of managing and driving growth of enterprise accounts

  • Willing and able to quickly learn about complex pharmaceutical production processes and management software

  • Ability to collect data and present data driven decisions

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to excite an audience

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • 30-40% travel availability

  • Preferred: MBA

  • Preferred: Project management certification and experience
