This role offers the Strategy Deployment Analyst – BDI EMEA the opportunity to play an integral role in identifying, analysing, evaluating, and monitoring strategic opportunities within BD Interventional EMEA.

This is a dynamic role combining analytical activities with hands-on involvement in supporting the strategy planning and deployment team in delivering and implementing strategic projects. It is a great opportunity to work closely with business leadership and across functions.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will be responsible for producing strategic analysis and metrics to support the strategy and planning team, leveraging data from across the business (e.g. market data, finance, planning, SFDC), analysing and interpreting the results, drawing valuable insights and presenting conclusions clearly

  • Own the design, development and maintenance of key strategic performance metrics, reports, analyses dashboards etc. to drive business decisions

  • Provide systems and analytical support to support ongoing strategic projects

  • Design and conduct primary quantitative and qualitative research to identify optimization opportunities

  • Analyse and report on key strategic trends to provide insights for senior management to ensure effective decision making

  • Prepare financial models to evaluate new Strategic opportunities

  • Create insightful presentations that summarize analysis and presenting them to the business leadership and across functions

  • Compile thoughtful post-mortem analyses to determine areas for optimization and improvement on past strategic decisions

  • Manage the project pipeline to ensure strategic projects are on track and identify any risks or opportunities

  • Support in the preparation of the annual strategic business review

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Technical:

  • Proven ability to handle large amounts of data that are constantly updated and that exist in many versions

  • Experience in analysing data and explaining variances while always ensuring that the data is accurate and presented correctly

  • Confidence in dealing with multiple internal and external data systems

  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills

  • Advanced PowerBI, Tableau and SFDC skills is an advantage

Qualifications:

  • A degree level qualification in Business, Finance, Strategy or other related field

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in business analysis, strategy, financial planning, or consulting

  • Advanced level of writing and speaking English

  • Industry experience is an advantage

  • LSS /Agile qualification preferred and/or other project mgmt. methodologies
